First impressions of the overall look of the place is impressive. Beautiful cakes. Very cozy and classy however I didn’t like the idea of not having the cakes labelled so we could see what they were and the staff seemed too busy to stop and explain. Your prices should also be visible as we have the right to know what we paying for and not be surprised at the till when we leave. I was surprised one slice of cake was 4 euros. Which brings me to the next point. You can’t pay at the table. On a busy Sunday afternoon we stood longer in the queue to pay than the time we spent at the table. The lady at the cashier also serves cakes for those taking cakes home and here we are waiting to pay while she’s busy attending to customers who are asking her about all the cakes as they can’t see what they are without labels. The cashier should be just that. A cashier ! To handle just the customers paying to leave. Better organising will improve overall experience. Try it sometime because you have potential to be the best but need improvement on these...

We ordered a custom looking cake for our baby’s first birthday, showed them a photo and we were told that they can do it but it didn’t turn out pretty, and it was €126 for a bit over 3kg.. disappointing is to say the least. It was agreed for it to be tall as in the photo, instead they made it wide, we asked for white sugar pearls as in the photo, they put gold and white, the buttercream wasn’t thick enough either, it looked like wet sand instead of buttercream and the little butterflies were coming off when we put the cake on the table. (the cake was kept in the fridge the whole time apart from 5 min of car travel) The flavour of the cake was good because all of their cakes taste good but honestly if the birthday dinner wouldn’t have been in 1 hour from the moment of picking up the cake I wouldn’t have taken it. Not worth it, if you want a custom cake order somewhere else or buy their regular looking cakes. First photo is...

The name "Cidade de Sabores" is, as per my humble opinion definitely well choosen. There's plenty to offer for the sweet tooth, not to mention their homemade pralines (try the one with raspberry filling, absolutely delicious 😋). Without any exception the service is so friendly and kind, that by itself makes it worth a visit! There's even for smokers (I fail to understand why to spoil the taste buds while having such great cakes) a tastefully designed...
