Right next to the train tracks, this restaurant offers a wide variety of fastfood 'delicacies', such as grilled piripiri chicken, steak, ribs and burgers, in a more premium setting with table service and obviously for more premium prices.
The atmosphere is good, but don't expect to find a lot of locals here. The place is generally filled with tourists, mostly British and Eastern European ones. The service is friendly and fast.
I made the huge mistake of ordering a burger here. Something I should not have done, because the burger I got was one of the worst burgers I have ever had. The burger was cooked half, still had parts of red ground meat and tasted like raw meat. The patty was covered by a blanket of what seemed to be cheese and bacon, but looked like sheets of plastic. The bread for the bun was horrendous in similar fashion as it seemed to be straight from China.
I am very glad I didn't get any food poisoning here. Long story short: don't get the burger, try the chicken instead if...
Read moreStaying in Quarteira. My old mans friend recommended this place after a very mediocre dinner our first night. Very nice and worth the drive. Ordered the Piripiri Chicken (a must if you’re going to this restaurant). We got our son (5 years old) the grilled chicken and chips. The flavours are excellent, we probably should have gotten the hotter version though. The chicken was a little dry when it came out, my sons chicken was done to perfection though. The cocktails though….. make sure you’re not a designated driver! They are fantastic! My wife got a Passionfruit Mojito
Added bonus for us with a 5 year old was the train track beside us. He got to enjoy 2 passing trains
We had dessert which unfortunately I finished before thinking of taking a picture....

Pop music played through speakers until a live singer started his set The restaurant caters primarily to expats w American and Portuguese classics such as Piri-Piri chicken and Picanha. There was a little miss on the service, as the mains were brought out w one of the starters, and not the other starter. The garlic shrimp appetizer was delicious. Just a little hard to peel. I ended up w some sauce stains on my shirt. I personally did not care for the beet appetizer, as it came drizzled w olive oil. The wait staff did their best to rectify their error regarding the starters. At the end of the meal, they gave us a choice of after dinner drinks. I'd go back again when...
