Such a shame! We are regulars @ VenePao and live in the Algarve. We visited for lunch again today and when we moved table due to the intense sunshine (it 33 degrees today) we were shouted at and racially abused by a male staff member at front the door in front of all the other customers In the restuarant. We apologised and swiftly moved table back. Never have we been made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable at your establishment, we could not leave more quickly! I used to love this place but now they don't seem to bother. They don't even clean the tables. And if asked, the lady looks annoyed. The food continues to be nice, pastries, salads, lunch specials, coffee and the terrace is spectacular to get all the sunshine you need for the day.
