We had a truly wonderful experience. The space is very pleasant and well-designed, with a calm and elegant atmosphere that makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in. One of the best features is undoubtedly the incredible view — the restaurant is situated right by the sea, and we were lucky enough to enjoy dinner during sunset. Watching the sun go down over the water while enjoying a great meal made for a very memorable evening. We had made a reservation in advance and specifically requested a table with a sea view, and we were very happy to see that they honored the request perfectly. As for the food — it was simply excellent, especially the octopus dishes. The octopus was perfectly tender, flavorful, and fresh, while the rice was rich, well-seasoned, and incredibly satisfying. You could tell that everything was prepared with high-quality ingredients and a lot of care in the kitchen. The staff was equally impressive — very professional, friendly, and attentive throughout the entire meal. They made us feel welcome, answered all our questions with a smile, and checked in regularly without ever being intrusive. It’s clear that service is taken seriously here, and it really made a difference in the...

On the Camino, so admittedly not wearing our best clothes (though not entirely out of place in what is a local restaurant) we were made to feel very unwelcome by the older gentleman (owner? Waiter?) who was entirely inhospitable and plain rude.
The food was however worth the visit. We were offered bread and seafood salad (which we didn’t order and presumed to be included but then were charged for…not the right way of doing it but I didn’t mind paying for it given it was very good and we finished it). We ordered the house speciality of octopus with rice which was fantastic, octopus was perfectly cooked and juicy as was the rice.
It is a shame that despite complementing the food the waiters attitude didn’t improve. If you don’t want to accept pilgrims in their attire I understand to be refused entry but if you are willing to take my money for lunch then at least show some courtesy. If not for that would...
Read moreI have tried the “gambas ao alho” and “cachorrinhos de polvo” as starters. They were unbelievable, spotlight on the “cachorrinhos” since the taste and combination of flavors were on point. As main dish, myself, tried the “arroz de pato” with cheese added on top. Again, no words, as the taste is amazing. (If you do ask for it, please as with that extra cheese). My parents had both presentations of the octopus rice. They were amazed since they haven’t tried such a rice like that. Both flavor and presentation got them stunned.
I’ve got a special mention for the owner that came to check of everything was right for us and making sure that we...
