Cafe O Forno — Restaurant in Miranda do Douro

I visited this town as a tourist and managed to stumble across this little cafe pit stop and what a find it was too.

Full of really friendly regular locals of all ages and run by a young couple (Fred & Fran) who were incredibly friendly and helpful and Fran can speak really good English.

Coffees are €1 and lunch is around €3.50. I couldn't even finish my toastie it was so big.

It opens early and stays open late at night, has TV's playing sport and I was told it was fine to park my campervan for the night directly behind on a nice level patch of common ground.

If you're a tourist yourself, you should definitely go try it out. It's well worth the little walk.
