Delicious experience with a warm kindness that could only be experienced in the true Alentejo.

Amid COVID restrictions and lockdowns, this place was a shining light for our nice take out dinners after a great boat experience in Alqueva.

The owners offered us some great quality food and quantity for a fantastic price. You must try the “ segredos de porco” ! This is like heaven and honey have melted together in one single dish !

Since we were out of ice for our boat, they were lovely to provide us with some extra ice cubes and even froze a water bottle for us, in order to make our trip even nicer !

We will never forget this restaurant and the kindness of the people around it ! This is what makes a true experience real.. a good heart and a valuable...

Friendly service. Salad consisted of chopped iceberg salad with a few slices of of onion and tomato served with a bottle of olive oil and vinegar salt and pepper. Make your own salad sauce. My bacalhau was leathery and tasteless and the Costeleta de Nov at 15 Euros was bone and fatty and chewy. No pomme frittes. Just mystery marble potato balls....

Lamento dizer mas a qualidade para os preços que praticam é caro!!! Vão comer em Mértola no restaurante paragem, e aí é que vão ver o que é qualidade e preço como top. Falaram no vosso restaurante, mas que desilusão de uma posta de bacalhau miserável por quase 15€ e batata cozida!? Isto para não falar que as bochechas de porco eram também caras… Não gosto de dar pontuação negativa, mas temos de dizer a verdade.

Não falei nos preços se estavam colocados, e sim na vossa qualidade/preço. A desculpa da festa não invalida a má qualidade que foi pelo valor. As más avaliações também se aprende para melhorar e não quer dizer que seja uma crítica negativa. Aprender não...
