Our final evening at "Restaurante Poço Azul" was truly heartwarming. 😍😍😍 Despite a long and stressful day, that had left the restaurant bustling and ready to close, the owner and their exceptional team welcomed us with open arms. Their hospitality, warmth, and understanding made us feel like cherished guests. 😊😊😊

Even without a reservation, we were embraced with genuine kindness. The dedication of the team, despite the challenging circumstances, was truly commendable. The meal we enjoyed was excellent. The quality and freshness of the food was amazing. The price was totally affordable. Every bite was a delight.

However, what truly set this experience apart, was the genuine friendliness of the staff. Their smiles, attentive service, and willingness to ensure our evening was perfect, made the whole atmosphere feel like a warm embrace. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 This unique encounter was the ideal way to conclude our Azores vacation, leaving us with a heart full of gratitude and unforgettable memories. Thank you very much!

This restaurants buffet is a great value and food is very good! Although the buffet closes at 3pm and the a la carte menu isn’t the greatest of selections. I had the bacalhau which was good but not the best, the dish overall was fairly mediocre and lacking in flavour. I substituted potatoes for rice and received a pretty small amount of rice, surprising considering this restaurant has a buffet with loads of rice on a regular, so I’m not sure why they would skimp on the rice portion in an a la carte dish. My girlfriend ordered a hamburger from the kids menu as she wasn’t very hungry.. and literally only got a burger patty (no bun or anything just a patty and fries), not sure how that classifies as a burger. I didn’t even take a picture of the hamburger dish as it was only 2 items. I’d suggest to come during lunch for the cheaper buffet option as that’s where this restaurant shines and skip dinner here. 4 stars for the buffet, but if it was based on dinner (a la carte) then I’d...

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Restaurante Poço Azul! From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by an incredibly friendly and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. The service was excellent—everything was served on time, and the team went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience.

The restaurant offers both a buffet and an à la carte menu, giving guests the flexibility to choose what suits their taste. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We were especially impressed by the vegetarian dishes, which were absolutely delicious and prepared with great attention to detail.

The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it the perfect place to enjoy a relaxing meal. Whether you're looking for a hearty buffet selection or a carefully crafted dish from the main menu, Restaurante Poço Azul is a fantastic choice. We truly enjoyed our time here and can't wait...

There werent too many options around this area and Poco Azul has a decent selection of food, including a buffet option that was very inexpensive and reasonably priced. I thought the food was mediocre - i went for the buffet which had about 3-4 kinds of meat option, potatoes and rice, and a small salad bar. The meats were a bit too salty for my taste and one of them was also a bit dry despite having a lot of sauce. They had deep fried mackerel and it was alright but i thought it could be a bit crispier as some of the fishes were getting slightly stale). Nothing really hit home for me. The food wasnt bad, but id say it is average. I wonder whether the non-buffet option may be better? Service was good, and i appreciated the vegetable/salad option as I find greens generally a low priority in the azores.
