This is a really really lovely place, with excellent contemporary food, great wine (or course, it's Alentejanan!) and fabulous service. The decor is vibrant but warm and the space is roomy but cosy at the same time, love the atmosphere they've created here. Yes, it's more expensive that a little local taberna but it's a different proposition: this is ideal for special occasions, family gatherings or just a treat but you get what you pay for, the food is simply excellent. Would encourage everyone visiting the gorgeous São Luis to try Ar Terra, which is a part of the rejuvenation of a lovely and magical...

We waited our food around 1 hour. Not so long, but inside only we were, no tables more, just we had a table. Very nice atmosphere, music and style, I liked. Everything is clean. Absolutely not good food and quality of products: on my burger bread was old, one part over dry and over fried, meet was overburdened, second part of bread was just old and wet. So inside my burger with mushrooms were good only mushroom. Not so much for 14 euros and 1 hour of waiting. Waiter (I guess it was one of the owners) was nice. But of course not...

Living near by we go there every so often since the Restaurant opened, and every time we make the same mistake - we order more then we can eat... The menu changes from time to time and all the dishes are ALWAYS amazing!!!! It is just so hard to choose - thank God for doggie bags:P Both traditional Portuguese dishes and fusion cuisine are prepared with fresh, local ingredients, you can taste the passion. Very friendly and attentive staff, good food, good music - all of this makes us come back...
