Abakua — Restaurant in Oeiras

I am absolutely appalled by this restaurant's incompetence and blatant disregard for hygiene. It's outrageous that they couldn't even get a simple order of two burgers correct, especially after being told explicitly how we wanted them cooked. The fact that they had to send the burgers back twice and still managed to mess them up is a testament to their utter lack of culinary skills. And to top it all off, there was hair in both the cheesecake and orange juice, which is not only disgusting but also a serious health hazard. First off, the burgers here are very good. Everything is made fresh and the chips are equally good. All in all we had a very good meal with dessert for a fantastic price of 16-17€uros. However, I couldn't rate the restaurant 5 stars due to getting to the end of our meal only to find they did not accept VISA/MasterCard. This resulted in us having to make a 15 minute walk to the nearest cash machine located well off the beaten track at 10pm at night... Quite a shame and put a downer on our meal.

I can recommend the food, the staff were also very nice and provided great Customer Service.

Love this place. The staff are so friendly and more than happy to explain all the dishes on the menu. The food is beautifully served and even more delicious to eat. We have eaten here a few times over the last week, lunchtime and for dinner. We all tried something different and every dish was so tasty. The burger Me-Me is definitely worth a try, as is the chicken & mango salad. I could not recommend Abakua any...
