Too bad to be true: I had an unfortunate experience at this restaurant, marked by poor service, a depressing atmosphere, and disappointing food quality for a so-called "Brazilian barbecue" restaurant. The meat was overcooked, the side dishes tasted like they had been reheated, and the desserts were not prepared correctly.

One of the most baffling moments was being informed that the orange slices served alongside the meat were "not suitable to eat" and were merely for decoration.

Additionally, the restaurant's pricing strategy comes across as deceptive. Although advertised on The Fork platform with a 50% discount to attract customers, the prices are significantly inflated, making it nearly impossible to benefit from the promotion without overpaying. There is a separate, more expensive menu exclusively for The Fork users—accessible only through the app—with inflated prices that differ greatly from the regular printed menu offered to other patrons. Essentially, if you wish to use the discount, you're restricted to the app's overpriced menu. However, if you want the same menu as regular customers, you forfeit any discount entirely.

We have been wanting to go here several times in the past, but it always looked so sad. Well, this time it came up on my google search and we were reminded of it.

I am so glad we went. As it turns out, it’s under new management so everything has changed. FOR THE BETTER.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, and when you enter you see all cuts of meats and fish that they’ll grill for you outside.

The new owner, could not be any nicer as was the rest of the staff. They are taking pride in their restaurant and food.

They have a set price for their fixed menu that includes dessert, drink and coffee.

I had the tuna steak with vegetables that were perfection!

My husband had the lamb and he was so happy to find that there because usually it’s steaks available everywhere to be grilled, but hardly ever lamb.

We had the couvert which consisted of buttery warm bread with garlic and delicious olives. This was the first time ever I had bread so good in all of Portugal.

After all this food, I couldn’t have dessert, but the owner insisted and brought me some fruit and topped it off with some coffee.

Reservamos uma mesa pelas 2 da tarde porque o o sítio tem pontuação alta e boas avaliações. Pois sinceramente não percebo como pode ser possível porque a experiência foi tão péssima que não consigo dar nem um elogio. Chegamos aí e ainda tivemos de ficar um bocado à espera da mesa. Sentamos e até aí tudo bem. Optamos para o menu top com 4 tipos de carnes diferentes. Esperamos quase uma hora só para ter as bebidas, depois mais meia hora só para ter umas azeitonas. Supostamente também vinha incluído pão d’Alho que nunca vimos porque depois de dizer que estava a ser preparado nos informaram que já não tinham pão mas que iam arranjar uma solução. Quando as empregadas conseguiram arranjar um bocado de pão o suposto dono agarrou e deu o cesto para outra mesa sem confirmar com o pessoal. Bem chegamos ao ponto forte do almoço, as carnes. O dono (que era, acho eu, o responsável pela grelha, mas tava tudo tão desorganizado que ele ia correr para trás e para frente sem noção nenhuma e deixou as carnes abandonadas aí, na grelha a ficar solas de sapatos) decidiu por as carnes na grelha sem confirmar se os acompanhamentos já estavam prontos para servir e então ele chegou com uma travessa e nem sabia que carne estava aí e depois disse que não era para nós. Depois volta com outra travessa só com duas das carnes que pedimos. A carne tava fria, seca, algumas partes quase cruas e outras super passadas. As batatas fritas também chegaram frias e a salada que também devia estar incluída nunca conseguiu chegar na mesa. Fomos fora a fumar e no entretanto que o dono estava a discutir com alguns clientes, que também reclamaram e aparentemente o dono tentou cobrar mais do que suposto, notamos aí o resto das nossas carnes sozinhas na grelha e ninguém a tomar conta disso. Todas as mesas que estavam à volta receberam o mesmo tratamento e ninguém saiu de aí satisfeito (houve também pessoas que se levantaram e foram embora pelo desespero). Houve gente que estava aí desde as 12.30 e só conseguiram acabar esta aventura às 17 da tarde. O dono em vez de pedir desculpa pelo objetivo desastre de serviço, ainda tentava responder com arrogância pelos clientes, e tentava arranjar desculpas onde a responsabilidade era sempre de terceiros (falta de pessoal, os clientes que escolheram as carnes erradas, até tentou dar a culpa na própria carne). Ainda tentou cobrar mais do que supostos a alguns clientes e também assistimos mais de uma vez o dono falar mal para as empregadas à frente dos clientes que coitadas estavam tentar fazer o melhor a pesar da situação. Dei 2 estrelas ao serviço só porque estava realmente com pena da única empregada de mesa a atender esse caos que a pesar de tudo sempre ficou profissional e tentou fazer o melhor com essa situação e ficou calma e positiva.
