Read moreMenu was all in Portuguese. It appeared like we were being helped to understand it but in the end we were just ripped off. We got charged €266 for a barely eaten seafood platter which we didn't even want and 3 beers. The owner tried to ply us with cheap cherry liquer and "free oysters". It was all just a ruse. We were so shocked by it all we just paid and left. We would never make a scene as much as we wanted to. I would not recommend this place at all to any tourists visiting Alges. It was quite funny that the owner was so "charming" and "attentive" all night and as soon as the bill came out he disappeared. This place serves the most amazing fresh seafood that you can have. They really invest on food quality, and going there will definitely not disappoint! While we wait for food, the waiters go to your table and serve shrimp pasties and samosas, both of them quite delicious. The range of seafood available is quite extensive, from oysters or clams to Alaska King crab. The clams Bulhao Pato style are quite delicious. The oysters were of just the right size, not too big, not too small, simply served with slices of lemon. The crabs are really big, and very well prepared. The service is friendly but the environment is a bit crowded. Still...
