Pizzeria Dio Mio offers more than just pizza. Located in the heart of Esmoriz, it pairs friendly, prompt service with a menu that’s thoughtfully put together and available in English, which is always a plus for travelers.

We were seated immediately on arrival, and despite it being a Monday evening, the place was nearly full by 8:30. That kind of local energy is always a good sign.

We started with the Italiana Salad, which came with fresh ingredients and a simple oregano-vinegar dressing. The flavors were spot on, though the portion was a bit modest.

For mains, we had the D'Emilia pizza and the Garlic Shrimp pasta. The pizza arrived with plenty of toppings and a nice, soft and chewy base. The pasta had a nice garlic kick without overpowering the shrimp, and the sauce was well balanced.

We ended with a classic tiramisu, served cold and well layered. Rich but not heavy, just the right way to wrap up the meal.

The open kitchen view added an extra layer of charm. It's always a pleasure to see the care that goes into preparing the dishes.

Quando todos se perguntam se o importante é a massa ou o molho, para nós é o espaço e sim a Pizzaria Dio Mio nesse patamar ganha aos PONTOS. Ambiente de cariz familiar, agradável decoração e o atendimento pelo anfitrião fora do normal, cuidadoso, elegante e contagiante. Orientou-nos com as suas sugestões de entradas, todas certeiras para os nossos gostos. Depois a orientação para os pratos principais foram as pizzas e como éramos 3 casais cada 1 escolheu 1 e partilhamos, as 3 escolhas foram top e estavam óptimas. Quanto à sugestão de bebida está recaiu sobre a sangria de maracujá e estava muito boa também. A cozinha esteve de parabéns pois estava tudo óptimo. O Staff é muito profissional e simpático o que ajuda ao desenrolar do convívio. No que toca às sobremesas optamos pelo mesmo sistema das pizzas, ou seja cada casal escolheu 1 e partilhavam os, mas não deu, eram boas demais para partilhar. Ou seja um serão fantástico, num ambiente que nada fica atrás , boa companhia, todos nós ingredientes para o sucesso. Never lived that before in my entire life. We arrived to order 2 pizzas to take away, the waiter doesn’t even open the door to us. We asked how long it will take, 45 minutes. We asked if we can order something to drink to wait, the waiter told us he will bring the drinks but we can’t enter. Like we have to wait outside with the glasses of sangria lmao....
