We arrived here with our three young boys not sure what to expect. The owner of the restaurant who works front and centre, took us under his wing and immediately made us and our boys feel welcome. Soup was blended for the baby on his suggestion, place settings for the boys were set out and food was delivered quickly and with a smile. The dishes were great - the set meals were lovely and filling. We came back again the next day because we felt like we were visiting family. Great stop for anyone travelling through the area and having a hankering for good home-style Portuguese...

Excellent service and lovely staff, really looked after us and made sure we had everything we needed. Did a lot of little extras as well, like cutting up the meat for the kids, bringing over fun napkins and cups for the kids, bringing over an extra portion of chips. Clearly a local favourite, quite busy. Food took a wee while to arrive. Menu is fairly typical,. A range of meat and fish dishes, all well cooked and nice to eat. Big portions. Two adults and three kids (kids sharing an adult portion) came to just over 30 Euros. ...
