Found this place by chance whilst travelling through Portugal on motorcycles and was delighted to have found it. It is a beautiful building filled with rustic charm. The restaurant is family operated and they offered us a warm welcome. We had a selection of starters including the flaming local sausage and mushrooms both of which were delicious. The five of us all had different mains and were all happy with our choices. The meats were cooked as ordered and the fish was very tasty. The wine list is actually a number of glass cabinets with a multitude of regional wines all individually priced and ready for perusal.
