Lovely restaurant with great ambience and excellent friendly and professional service. Food took a long time to come, but that wasn't a big issue for most of us. Kids menu is great value. Bathrooms are clean and cozy. The food was fine, but I felt the menu was very contrived. Here you are - minutes from the sea - with the best fish and seafood on hand and instead of letting it shine as it is, you overwork it and try to be overly creative when there really is no need. Simplicity is key when dealing with the fruits of the sea. Save the creativity for the side dishes, starters, desserts and meat dishes. Don't get me wrong, it was all tasty and just fine, but it was just a bit much and you lost the beauty of the fresh seafood which should stand alone as the star of the show. The only thing that really stayed true to tradition and simple but delicious preparation was the sea bass and prawn rice. Definitely the best meal of the evening. Desserts were excellent. Overall a lovely meal with wonderful service, but if you're a purist, you can get better prepared fish and seafood elsewhere for much better value.

We visited Peniche for a short visit and found Tribeca on Google Maps, we were able to get a reservation that was needed because of the popularity of the restaurant, it was very pleasant atmosphere and the staff was very attentive our choice from the menu was my wife had the bisque and the seafood pie and I had mussels and then red shrimp a ka plancha, I enjoyed my meal but it was a little too much work to shell and prawns but overall it was enjoyed.

Great experience in a quiet town! We came for a vacation and had the pleasure of hearing about Tribeca from the resort staff that heavily recommended it. Had to drive out a bit but totally worth it! Grilled Lobster was probably the best i’ve ever had. So so delicious. Pictured is the crab bisque and the desserts which were also great! Service was 10/10 and the staff was extremely attentive and friendly.

It was worst culinary experience in Portugal so far. The shrimps cocktail had more ice salad than shrimps and the sauce for sure didn’t taste like homemade. The Portuguese sausage was just minced fish leftovers in a gut, deep fried. And the French fries had its vintage for sure. The green fried leaves that looked like spinach tasted rather like Bermuda grass. The fish though was ok, but not spiced and topped with the onion soaked in oil. And potatoes for sure were not inviting. In the menu it was written, the dish comes with a salad. I guess one cherry tomato with a leaf of parsley was supposed to do the trick. The house wine I would not recommend. Sad thing is, it was not...

We came here on a recommendation from others. It did not quite meet the expectations that had been set out by them. There is no loud TV or intense lighting (both very customary in Portuguese establishments) which were a plus. The food and service were perfectly adequate but they were not amazing either. With the exception of one waiter: Rafael (we believe) who was indeed very attentive the remaining staff were fine but inattentive. For us it did not quite live up to the hype that other diners put upon this place. Yes it is slightly better than other places in the area but it is also...
