Great snack place for time at the pools. The staff knows us as regulars and are even friendlier once they know you, which is something because they always smile and offer quick counter service despite often having customers 2-3 deep at the bar.

It is counter service to order, and prepay, but staff will bring food to your table when it'd ready. They offer inexpensive, reusable plastic cups so you can take with you back to the pools and will refill them on your next visit. Drinks are cold. We tend to order spicy peanuts, tremocos, or French fries, but we have had dinner and sandwiches, all of which were quite satisfactory with good portions made fresh to order. I had a Poutine. The first one i found in Sao Miguel and it was phenomenal. Bacon was crunchy, the gravy tasty and the cheese melted and not to overpowering. O Bar dos Poços foi uma paragem improvisada, quando os 16 que éramos nos encontrámos desesperados por comida. Felizmente, conseguiram acolher-nos rapidamente, o que foi um ponto positivo. No entanto, é provável que o tamanho do grupo tenha contribuído para algumas dificuldades no serviço.

Grande parte dos ingredientes para pizza estavam esgotados, o que exigiu alguma criatividade na escolha dos pedidos. O tempo de espera foi considerável — alguns pratos demoraram entre 45 minutos a uma hora a chegar. Sendo um grupo grande e com pouco tempo, tornou-se uma refeição algo frustrante.

Quanto à comida, foi aceitável — nada de extraordinário, mas também sem grandes falhas.
