Café Snack Bar "Tu & Eu" — Restaurant in Ponta Delgada

I will give it 4 stars overall because the service was very good and some of the food was very good. The man was so nice and accommodating and attentive and used what little English he could to communicate. The place is cute with a nice little dining room upstairs and some more tables out on the balcony off of that dining room facing toward the ocean although there are some buildings that block part of the view of the ocean. Because I was there for brunch I started with a coffee and a chocolate filled pastry which were both very good. But I also ordered a hamburger because it was late morning so this was going to be lunch. The hamburger was very thin and small like a McDonald's hamburger which I should have guessed because the price was comparable to a McDonald's hamburger. However they had put hot sauce on it. I don't know if that's how they do hamburgers here but I didn't like that. I recommend that you do not order the hamburger here and get one at...

While the staff was nice and welcoming, the food was absolutely terrible and highly price for what you ended up having in your plate. We ordered various things on the menu and none of them tasted good, from the uncooked fries to the questionable meat patties in the burgers and the weird tasting sausages… I have a hard time understating why the place is rated so high, maybe the owner...

Good place with good food for a reasonable price. A little cramped space, but they have a seating room with a small balcony with ocean view. The personal knows decent enough English. Enjoyed my first Bifana with fries. Will visit again...
