Excellent food. All fresh made un front of your eyes. Very friendly staff. Though, they only had meat on the menu that day, they served codfish, made especially for one of us. The traditional portuguese food is of top quality, the beef smooth and very tasty, the grilled cod exquisitely pleasent and fresh. The vinho verde house brand was so enjoyable we bought some bottles to take home. The waiter was more than friendly, very helpful with explaining the meals and always taking care. Don't miss the extraordinary desserts!

Update 2025: Returned after three years and received an incredibly warm welcome. The food (bacalhau and bife) was once again first-class. As was the fantastic service and the magnificent view from the terrace over the valley. The desserts are unique. We are very grateful for the hospitality and the first-class cuisine. See you next...

Avalio a minha experiência, não pela refeição que nem me deram oportunidade, mas pelo atendimento, pois fui todo o caminho a ligar para reservar a mesa para duas pessoas e não atenderam o telefone. Chegados ao local, estavam 3 pessoas ao balcão e simplesmente ignoraram, tinha um mensagem junto ao balcão que diziam não atendemos ao balcão, encostei-me junto ao pequeníssimo balcão que existia aí, sim um sr disse não se pode encostar ao balcão e apontou o dedo para a mensagem que não dizia isso, talvez tivesse cara de doente, mas tudo bem, adiante, eu perguntei tem mesa para duas pessoas, tem reserva? não, só com reserva, sim mas eu liguei e ninguém atende, só funcionamos com reserva até 5ª feira. Se ninguém atende, também não tenho como saber, podiam perfeitamente colocar uma mensagem gravada se não querem atender, não havia necessidade de fazerem as pessoas perderem o seu tempo. Não obrigada Restaurante Monte da Nó, fui outro mais á frente que também não tinha reserva, mas também me atenderia às 15h, eu por acaso é que não quis esperar mas faziam todo o gosto em me atender mesmo sem reserva.
