This restaurant turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. It is located in an area of great natural beauty, next to the Santo António caves in Serra d'Aire and close to the river beach of Olhos de Água. In view of that, the restaurant is frequented by many visitors, especially on weekends. It is not uncommon in these cases that high demand is reflected in lower quality and, therefore, my expectations concerning this restaurant were not very high. Take a walk with the kids through the beautiful olive tree garden and the enjoy the animals in the back of the restaurant.
If you want to eat 🐗 javali, this is your place to eat it. They prepare it with chestnuts and sweet potatoes in a wine. It's served in a gorgeous casserole that is divine. I will give 1 star due to food, otherwise would even be giving -1 if that would be possible. Avoid this place as food is not everything without a good and hospitable service. And that waiter just spoiled a great family moment.
