Excellent evening. As a "fussy" eater, I was worried it'd be too "fancy" but every single dish of the 9 course tasting menu (definitely recommended) was delicious. The chef asked in advance if there was anything I really didn't want to eat and swapped one dish for me. The wine pairings were brilliant too. The chef explained each dish and the level of interaction was perfect - enough to inform us and make us feel welcome but then we were left to enjoy each dish. They do simpler "dish of the day" lunches during the week and of course a full menu beyond the tasting menu. And the tasting menu changes every few weeks - soon they will introduce the spring menu. Also veggie options and if informed in advance they can adapt the tasting menu for vegetarians. The chef is from the area but has previously worked in restaurants with 1, 2 and 3 michelin stars. And its shows. Wishing Chef Diogo and his team every success in this new venture. Not cheap, but amazing value for the quality of the food and the whole experience. We will definitely be back.

Integrated in a hotel, this cosy place with limited seating has a great atmosphere. For the “9 moments menu”, highlights to the venison tartare and the pork cheek. The monkfish was a bit underwhelming and the goat cheese used in some of the dishes lacked punch, sometimes could be mistaken for regular cheese. Some portions could have 20% more content but it was still satisfying. Vegetables were fresh and very well seasoned and prepared. Most of the produce was local and the chef was very knowledgeable about where everything came from to the individual producer. At the end of the chefs menu I wished it offered a small cheese tasting since it is available à la carte but maybe in the future it will be considered. All in all, a great place to have a meal in a valley surrounded by olive trees.

Excelente restaurante.

Comida: A gastronomia revelou bastante qualidade.
