I don’t know why this place has such good reviews. We’ve ordered the plate of mixed meat (pork, chicken, sausages) and it was the most awful I’ve ever eaten in Madeira. The pork is like a chewing gum, I could barely cut it… I just give up trying eating it. Okay, I can understand… sometimes it might happen… I tried chicken and it wasn’t fresh at all. It supposed to be stewed… but it wasn’t fresh and it felt like weathered and dry… the last drop was sausages … they weren’t a good quality and not tasty at all.
