Luscious cheese garlic bread starter closely followed by a gigantic family sized pizza and a.creamy ricotta cheese ravioli. All absolutely piping hot, fresh and delicious.

The lady taking the orders and serving was excellent during a very very busy lunchtime service. Despite not speaking English she engaged and communicated very well with a big smile and dishes were presented at lightening speed.

Tip...Use the cafe door to the left of what appears to be the pizzeria for a more intimate lunch atmosphere with the locals.

My first experience of using my beginner Portuguese to order a takeaway by phone. Arrived to collect, the owners were so friendly as were all the other patrons. The restaurant itself is quaint and homely. I will be eating in next time! The food itself, we had the kebab and a pizza. The kebab was delicious and plentiful, one serving would have served two people! My pizza was the best pizza I have had in Portugal. Beautiful! We visit this restaurant every time we are in Portugal. Love both the food and the service. Service is usually very quick and in the summer they open up the outside seating area with roof and retractable glass walls.
