Be aware....if you are from a modern thinking world where service and product are expected for the 'excess charges' partially displayed then this restaurant does NOT deliver and neither does it accept any form of payment card - not displayed anywhere. ......Portuguese may accept this as 'fantastic' but it is hugely below 'Western world' ethics....The entrės are (4 small pieces of cheese on a 'slate' ( very 1998) and some presunto ...but charged separately - check your bill for evidence of this) and are placed in front of you as if they are a free 'apetizer'....they are not and you can refuse to accept them as they are (not advertised anywhere) 5 euros EACH....plus the 15 olives that accompany them are 1.50 euros...as are the samples of bread so that's 13 euros in total before your 'main' arrives....The main course being from a very limited list of options and NOT anything to write home about. It is street food....Portugal has a sneaky way of dropping entrės on your table with an inference that they are free.....THEY ARE NOT......Plus the bottle of beer offered is usually included in the cost of the main but is added as an extra at the maximum price for Portugal ....Eat here again?....No, not worth the effort down the dangerous track to it and the food is 5.5 fro. 10.....The scenery , which this restaurant does not provide, and your own picnic will deliver a massively better experience .....Definitely for the unlucky caught in a spider's web type of place....Better food to be found in you own...
Read moreHome-made food, friendly staff cater specifically for your individual preferences. As a vegetarian I was not only impressed by the concept of offering a plant-based meal in a traditional restaurant, but even more by its quality. Summing up, all the served food was cooked to its perfection. Also, needless to say it's a traditional restaurant with a very reach decor. Finally, I was offered a meal at irregular time between lunch and dinner which is when other restaurants usually do not...
Read moreRecomendamos!
