Giulietta - Pizza & Gelato Italiano — Restaurant in Santarém

I visited this place several times now, it is easy to find, has good parking facilities and the decoration is nice (but some flies spoil it a bit). The employees are friendly but there is a lack of attention on detail, for instance the candle on our table has never been lightened on and the empty starter plate remained for quite some time despite the fact that the restaurant was not busy at all. The mojito was delicious and so the lasagna with mushrooms and truffle. However the Tartufata pizza used to have (when the restaurant just opened) by far more and really slices of truffles, but now they just add some scramble of it. So the quality dropped significantly fast. The carbonara pasta is not recommended at all, it is boring, has a lack of taste, no sauce and big pieces of bacon not really cooked properly, so avoid it. The bolognese lasagna is much bigger than the truffle one, it has too much sauce and less dough, there is no balance and I felt unwell all the night trough after eating it. So dear owners, there is room for improvement and next time you are in your restaurant show some interested and talk to your clients instead of pretending you...

Ate here with my wife. She had the pizza with salami. The salami was very good quality, but the pizza was thin and soggy wet. First, the sauce should be thicker and less wet. And the dough a little thicker. Then the pizza would be less wet as a whole. Put the dough in the oven first, then add the tomato sauce.

I had the shrimp salad with mango. Im my opinion, the salad needed more variety of ingredients for the money.

The waitress brought me a beer in a cold bottle, but then brought a room temperature cup. The cup should be presented cold with the cold beer.

I had a Portuguese pizza and lasagna Bolognese, it was all amazing. The pizza was one of the best if not the best I've ever had and I've had a lot of pizza. The Bolognese also really good, my only complain is that it was a bit too greasy but tasty. Presentation amazing. Service amazing the waiter was really nice and friendly. Absolutely recommend it! Can't wait...
