Sushi and Poke Santarém — Restaurant in Santarém

Came here at about 6pm to place my order. You should note that they do not start serving until 6:45pm but will take pre-orders at 6. They offer takeout which is what my wife and I got. We lived in Japan for nearly 3 years, and outside of northern Japan, including famous places like Oma known for their high-quality sushi, this the best sushi I’ve eaten in Europe given its fusion influence. It’s better than the Kappa Sushi chain in Tokyo for those familiar with Japanese sushi, but not Oma-shi in Aomori-ken quality. Excellent quality, excellent service, and a nice presentation. It was surprisingly delicious, I’ve had multiple fusion attempts but these were well paired. The sour with sweet, the umami flavors, and burst of seeds or sour notes leave you refreshed with the fatty salmon. I wished their tuna was a bit more fatty, but I don’t think they offered maguro as a choice. I’d love to also see swordfish on the menu someday. My favorite were the strawberry, salmon, raspberry combo that really brought bright flavors. Tempura was 100% the same as most that I had in Asia, gyoza were crispier but refreshing. Thanks! Espaço novo em Santarém, se bem que já existe em outros locais. Mandei vir pelo Uber eats em promoção de 2 por 1. 16 hot rolls e 12 gyosas por 17€. Sai mais barato a pedir diretamente, mas com a promoção vale mais a pena.

Veio com tudo o que era necessário, wasabi gengibre e molho de soja, tudo separado e não atabalhoado na mesma caixa.

O sushi é bom e está ao nível de outros que praticam preços mais caros. É bom surgir este tipo de competição em Santarém.

Creio que funcionam mais em modalidade de takeaway por agora.

Oferecem opções vegan para os combinados mas não tem opções com e sem sashimi.

Os combinados tem preços mais baixos do que a competição, especialmente o de 50 peças.

Em geral recomendo.

Edit: Subo para 5 estrelas, desta vez pedi 50 peças por apenas 35 euros, e ainda deram um panfleto para levantar uma oferta duma bowl. Para além da qualidade, é barato. Já não é a primeira vez que vou buscar bowls aqui também. Tornou se facilmente no meu espaço...
