Piccolo — Restaurant in Seixal

Not a single dish was served hot. It looked like all food is fully prepared in advance and then just served into the beautiful dishes. A warm meal in not a good italian confort meal. Service is nice though. || Edit after management's comment: none of my reviews are based on a single experience at any given restaurant - specially the not so nice reviews. One time bad experience may well be just a bad day. It is a shame that management prefers to deal with a negative review in an arrogant way implying that this client is a liar. Nevertheless it curious to stress that once the managment assumes that he "cannot relate to anything stated on my review", he is also not relating to my statements that the dishes are beautiful and the service/staff is nice. It is actually a shame no good thing were taken from here. I've already eaten here a couple of times and was never disappointed with the quality of the food, nor the attentive and friendly service. I mostly order the Margherita pizza, and every time it's been very tasteful and well balanced. Sexta feira aquele belo dia da semana para jantar fora de casa, especialmente no fim do mês 🤭. Então resolvi pesquisar algo na área do Seixal, particularmente italiano fui ao Google e encontrei este Picollo que também está no TripAdvisor ainda com poucas críticas mas achei que eram as suficientes para tomar a decisão, liguei para reservar mesa para 2 pessoas. E em boa hora o fiz, ambiente acolhedor, bom atendimento e acima de tudo excelente comida. Entrada - Focaccia com sementes e azeite com vinagre balsâmico, pedi depois uma bruscheta para dividir, que estava divinal. Pratos principais - Linguine Nero do sepia com camarão, tomate cherry e molho de manteiga e coentros, fantástico, para quem gosta de manteiga é recomendado. Tortiglioni Alla Arrabiata spicy com molho de tomate, mozzarella de búfala, manjericão e azeite, tudo aromático mesmo sendo picante dá-lhe um toque excepcional. Sobremesa pedimos um Profiterole de tamanho generoso com um creme de avelã fresco e regado com chocolate negro quente, divinal e apaixonante. Será um restaurante a repetir e experimentar outros pratos embora a carta inclua as pizzas serão naturalmente algo a degustar, tem bons vinhos e boas cervejas mas optei pela italiana Peroni que já conhecia e satisfaz bastante.
