From morning coffee and local pastry to evening snack or ice cream after sun, Marques is always there for you. It's the reference in the main Porto Côvo square. Inside is cozy and quaint decorated with typical colorful tiles and a big old chimney once used to cook and bake bread. Outside there is an esplanade with metallic tables and chair under big sun umbrellas even during winter. You get served at the counter after taking a ticket with your number when the place is busy, which is frequent. There is no table service. The staff is very accommodating and experienced and they will always appreciate you cleaning your table after yourself as to allow others to use the space without waiting for someone to break the service to clean your mess, which is disrupting and disrespectful. Prices are very ok and if you're on a budget holiday trip no one will be upset if you don't leave a tip maybe because there is no table service,...

If you are visiting Portugal and wish to taste their fine patisseries, toasted cheese sandwiches (toatas), simple great coffee, and good ice cream to boot this is the place for you.

Centrally located in Porto Covo on the Marques de Pombal square. Its not to far from the beach.

Not pricey for Porto Covo but more expensive than places further inland.

The service is always outstanding and do remember to collect a ticket from the distributer on the wall opposite...

Venho por meio desta manifestar a minha insatisfação com o atendimento e os serviços prestados pela Pastelaria Café Creme.

Em primeiro lugar, o estabelecimento não cumpriu o horário de abertura afixado, o que resultou em um tempo de espera considerável para os clientes. Quando finalmente entramos, a sala ainda não estava preparada para receber os clientes, o que comprometeu ainda mais a experiência.

Além disso, fui informada de que os croissants estavam a sair do forno e que deveria aguardar por alguns minutos. No entanto, quando finalmente fui servida, percebi que os croissants estavam frios e, aparentemente, eram do dia anterior, o que é inaceitável para um estabelecimento com a reputação da Pastelaria Café Creme.

Quando solicitei a devolução do valor pago, fui surpreendida com a recusa de reembolsar o valor total do pedido. Somente o valor dos croissants foi devolvido, embora nenhum dos outros itens do pedido tenha sido...
