Churraquinha — Restaurant in Sintra

🍗🥩🍺🇵🇹🍽️ We highly recommend Churraquinha for dinner. It’s a very local and popular spot, especially for takeaway, which seemed to be in constant demand while we dined in.

We loved it so much we went two nights in a row. The first night we had the baked chicken combo for two, and the second night the picanha beef combo. Both came with generous portions of rice, beans, salad, and french fries. With a liter of beer, the total was only €25 for the chicken night and €35 for the picanha. The quality, hospitality, and service were all outstanding, and the food was uniquely Portuguese and full of flavor.

This is an incredible value that’s hard to beat anywhere else in Europe — a true hidden gem in central Portugal.

O restaurante em si, está limpo, e paga se por média 15/16€ pessoa, sem bebida e doce. A comida está muito boa. O atendimento de hoje ao almoço , dia 11/12/2022, com a empregada foi péssima. O que menos gostei foi estarmos sentados na mesa e sem pedirmos a conta , levarem a conta para pagarmos. Outras observações....
