O Bom Sabor - Taste of India — Restaurant in Sintra

Late lunch for two. TLDR: Expensive average food with no Indian feeling.

Food: seeing the menu, the prices seemed a tad higher than usual for this part of the town. After seeing the quantity we were very disappointed: small doses and NO rice/side in any of the 3 main dishes we asked for. The recommended course of lamb didn't taste like lamb: either it was cow or it wasn't fresh. Samosa, naam and papari tasted ok. Positive note for the mint, spice and mango sauces of the entries. Veggie dishes with none to little protein. The naam took forever to arrive.

Service: the personal were attentive and kind. However at the end, we had a bad surprise: the bill was 60 euros. The 3 dishes where some of the cheapest. Some simple entries, no fancy drinks, no coffee nor desert. We didn't notice it at the moment, but when we did the math it should have been around 50 euros! Worst of all, the owner didn't even provide a receipt or invoice so we could check.

Ambient: We were kindly welcomed, but from the very start, we noticed that the TV was playing Brazilian music very loudly. Worst of all: it stopped from 5 to 5 minutes with a random failure, went silent and then started playing again another random music. Totally...

This place should be closed. Over 24 hours I’m in severe pain, vomiting and staying at the toilet while 7 months pregnant. If something happens to my baby, I’m going to sue them. Food tasted badly, it was not fresh and kind of cold. Avoid this...

Boa tarde. Pela primeira mandei vir comida do vosso restaurante, sem conhecer a qualidade da vossa comida. Achei que todos nós devemos confiar... Qual é o meu espanto quando vou comer supostamente o que pedi, borrego! Há afinal é carne de vaca!!!!! Acham mesmo que a carne de vaca passa bem por borrego?? Não tem nada haver uma carne com outra!! Fiquei muito irritada porque não se tenta enganar assim o cliente, não sou nada disto, de reclamações mas isto eu achei indesente!! Comigo não contem mais.
