We came here based on someone else’s review. When we arrived few minutes after 7 pm the place was deserted and my husband was like, I don’t think I want to eat here.
After my insistence that we get off and “see” the place he was sold. Well, we didn’t have reservations but the girl at the front asked someone else and bye sat us at a table for 3 in the back because they were booked with over 500 people.
The place is huge. Has two floors several bars and the top floor has shishas which they light up after dinner service.
There was supposed to be live music at 8;00 but it didn’t start until a bit later, but the place really did fill up. As a matter of fact when we left the place there was absolutely no parking in the industrial area parking lot, nor the street.
Anyway, the food- we started with the pica pau which was seasoned with wine peppers onions and olives. Soooooo good.
Then we had the Cesar salad, and I have to say- it very difficult to find a good Cesar salad and this delivered!!
We then had a platter of different meats that included rice beans and veggies which was amazing. Meat was cooked and seasoned perfectly.
We had a sangria that was spectacular and the presentation was really cool-with smoke overflowing it.
We ended with the chef’s dessert and it was a combination of ice cream brownie wafers deliciousness.
The staff was great as well as the ambiance once it got busy and music started. I will definitely be back and...
Read moreIt is a very nice restaurant, the decor is on point with the name bringing the "feel" for the American restaurants, the tables are all made of "uneven" wood bringing that feel even closer, they also have a barber shop and tattoo parlour inside the restaurant, in case you want to have a haircut with your ribeye.
At lunch time is more accessible as they have a very nice lunch menu and there is less people so finding a table right away is possible.
At dinner time you should book a table, as it tends to get real crowdy real fast, the space is huge so they do tend to get alot of group meetings there, and almost everyday they have live music with a band playing through out dinner time.
Regarding the food it is very good, all of the meat there is of high quality and it comes well served, for kids they do have a burguer that the meat simply melts in your mouth and they love it, they have several options for meat dishes but not so much for fish, they also have some pasta dishes.
Now it is not "cheap" , as most of the menu consists of dishes more than 10€ but they are worth it, for a group of 5 adults and 1 children I paid 100€ , that's with beverages appetizers and main dishes, it's definitely an experience that everyone should try...
Read moreLocated near Cacèm, Rota 94 is a big restaurant focused on meat dishes and Brazilian roast. You can have some group menus with refill drinks and all you can eat of lower level types of meat and rice with black beans or French fries. They also have good tomahawks, lamb meat, etc. The problem is with some staff not being nice and there is a lot, but a lot of noise due to the live music. You cannot speak with the persons in the table. There is allways party inside with birthday groups but if you want to take the family for a cozy dinner this is not the place. For some of the meats also doesn’t make sense to have a grill on the table to cook the meat (any steakhouse will take a t-bone/chuleton/tomahawk already grilled to the table). The prices are also above average and I every time I went the tickets were wrong (with additional items). For all the reasons above, if you want to eat, drink and party try one time at least, otherwise there are...
