A true hidden gem in Gerês! You can do everything here – buy souvenirs, try the local honey liqueur, have a meal, or rent a boat or kayak. I’m so glad we stopped by because we managed to do everything in one place. The prices are VERY reasonable, which was a lovely surprise. The staff is super friendly, and even locals come here – which says a lot! I had the best homemade steak in all of Portugal here – absolutely delicious. They also offer rooms for rent, which makes it a convenient option if you’re planning to stay in the area.

The place has its own atmosphere. Service is rather slow and not very caring. The staff take it one at a time, slowly. But then, the prices are reasonable and the chicken out of the oven was actually surprisingly good! We had nothing against the pizza and the Sangria was really tasty!
