Had high expectations of this place due to the overall Selina’s concept, but this restaurant experience was way below average. Starting from the service, the only “waiter” available had visibly no training in waiting tables. Took a long time to came get to the orders, and took even a longer time to remove the dishes from the table after we finished eating. Now the food. In such location with access to many organic providers, still the choice goes to frozen products. Patatas bravas: frozen potatoes that were fried with barely any taste or season. The bigger potatoes were not fully cooked. Roasted vegetables: supposed to be vegetables with lentils and feta cheese (also tasted like frozen). The proportions were 70% lentils, 29% vegetables and 1% feta cheese. The last one barely made it to the table.
We skipped dessert and ordered an espresso. What came to the table was a full mug of coffee.
Way pricier when compared to other traditional restaurants with home made food in Gerês.

Der Außenbereich wird nicht bewirtet und sah auch entsprechend aus. Unglaublich schade, weil man einen recht schönen Ausblick hätte. Das Essen war okay, aber eher unter dem Durchschnitt. Die Vorspeisen, die wir hatten, waren alle frittierte Fertiggerichte. Die Hauptspeisen (Burratasalat und Gegrilltes Gemüse mit Linsen) waren okay, hätten gerne gewürzt sein können und für den Preis etwas mehr bieten. Der Service war schlecht. Es war nur eine Servicekraft anwesend, die aber auch noch in die Küche musste. Getränke konnte je eins am Anfang bestellt werden, danach war es nicht mehr möglich mehr zu bestellen. Besteck hat der gute Mann uns auch zu wenig gebracht. Kann mal passieren, aber wenn man dann nicht nachfragen kann, weil kein Personal im Restaurant ist, ist das mehr als schlecht. The food and the staff is really nice! I got the porkcheeks and the dish was amazing. Someone talked about small portions, that was not the case at all for us! We left overfull and it was over...
