Restaurant Central — Restaurant in Tomar

We had a group dinner here. I have to tell you that i expected a lot better. As portuguese we love to eat and drink as much as we can but here we felt like we couldnt do that. We paid the most expensive menu and it was so not worth it. We had to ask for bread like 10 times and every single time they brough 9 or 10 slices for a group of 19 people... The appetizers were realy simple and not in a great quantity (for the price paid it was the worse service ever). The main dishes were so normal in terms of flavour, expected something above average. The only thing i realy thought was above average was the desserts since they were all home made and realy tasty, but even so, i expected more variety and some out of the ordinary desserts. One thing i though was 5 out of 5 was the decoration. I dont reccomend it and even though i live nearby i dont expect to return here. There are a tons of better...

Decepcionante.... Instalaciones modernas y con buen gusto, aparentemente buena comida por muy buenas recomendaciones pero que no pudimos llegar a probar. Después de una hora y media de espera, nos dicen que va todo con retraso porque está el interior lleno y que aún tenemos que esperar mucho.... La verdad es que una vergüenza. Unos amigos estaban comiendo en el interior y ellos llegaron media hora más tarde y cuando yo me fui ya estaban terminado de comer. Tuve casi que suplicar un poco de pan para dar a los niños ya que solo me lo trajeron la tercera vez que lo solicité. No tuve la suerte con unas aceitunas que aún las estoy esperando. Yo entiendo que es comida que se hace en el momento y eso requiere un tiempo. Hora y media para unas hamburguesas y unos platos qué varios ya están cocinados (caracoles...) No me vale. Pagamos la bebida y nos fuimos sin comer.... Si tienes la suerte de que haya poca gente o dar con camareros competentes lo mismo tienes suerte de probar su comida. It's a very good restaurant with a beautiful environment, big enough for family gatherings and patties. Delicious food but not big portions (for those who eat too much it's not enough 😉😁), which make you order a rich desert! The price is not cheap compared to local restaurants in the area. I recommend this place for your anniversaries...
