Café Portugal — Restaurant in Valença

I got 2 items, first was bad so I got another dish -this restaurant was the only open during Easter Monday. Firstly, the codfish and chips, the fish is steamed or baked it comes out in a little casserole dish with fried potatoes there is about 1cm of oil in the bottom, the fish is with bones and it was overcooked- it wasn’t very fresh, but I don’t fault them for that with the holiday. I’d give it 2 stars, it was a small and a pricier item 12€. The chicken sandwich I got was good and bigger than the whole fish and chip dish, it was 6.5€, I’d give 4 stars. Infelizmente, a minha experiência neste café foi extremamente negativa. Fui mal atendido desde o início, com má educação por parte do staff e zero atenção ao cliente. Pedi um sumo de laranja natural, mas o que me foi servido mais não era do que sumo de garrafa misturado com uma quantidade mínima de laranja fresca — completamente inaceitável. Recusei o sumo, mas mesmo assim fui obrigado a pagá-lo. Uma deceção total. Não recomendo e certamente não voltarei.

Unfortunately, my experience at this café was extremely disappointing. I was treated rudely from the start, with poor manners and absolutely no customer care. I ordered a fresh orange juice, but what I got was clearly bottled juice mixed with just a splash of fresh orange — completely unacceptable. I refused the juice, yet I was still forced to pay for it. A total disappointment. I do not recommend this place and will definitely not return.

Malheureusement, mon expérience dans ce café a été très décevante. J’ai été mal accueillie dès le début, avec un personnel impoli et aucun sens du service client.
