What a cool local! Based on a recommendation from friends we ended up here and have not regretted it for a second. We called ahead and reserved a table, because depending on the day and time, it can be quite crowded. And it was. We came on a Wednesday and were lucky enough to witness a live band playing reagge music and really heating up the guests at the end of the evening. The food was excellent, we tried a few starters that night and were not disappointed. We enjoyed this evening so much that we came back on Friday. What a weird experience we had! On Saturdays starting from 8 pm there is full on party music. Hardly a chance to have a conversation and enjoy your food in a relaxed manner. If only we knew that! Besides, we waited 1.5hs for our dinner. The kitchen was hardly able to deliver on all the orders. Very disappointing evening for us. In the end we had take-away, food was only half warm by the time we got home but at least we managed to escape the super loud music. Quite a disappointing experience. Wow! Who knew? So many bars strive to be “cool” and some just are! We stayed locally and this bar\restaurant was on our doorstep. Every day its open has a different event it seems with the highlight being the monthly Saturday market and evening DJ event. Bucket list material!
