Novo Rumo Labruge — Restaurant in Vila do Conde

The food is really good! Unfortunately the restaurant suffers from awful atmosphere caused by the people that go there: kids always screaming and people talking very loudly.

Not only that, but the restaurant attracts many many people, but it doesn't have a lot of tables, so there is always a lot of people crammed in the small entrance wanting to be the next person served.

However, the view from the restaurant is very calming and beautiful and the food is very good (I've eaten various things over the last year there, and they were all really good!).

Also, I love the dishes that they serve the food with!

The waiters are hit or miss. They all do their job well, mostly, but they seem very stressed and probably understaffed. They don't have that friendly warm conversation that I tend to like in other restaurants, but they do their job well, and I've only had one problem with my order.

Overall, it's a nice restaurant, from time to time I like to go there and "gamble" if the ambience is nice or not. I'd recommend going after lunch, around 3-4pm, because during 12pm-2pm it's...

Today, I found myself in a bad mood, and the only way to fix it was to have something sweet somewhere by the ocean. And you know, Nova rumo was a discovery of the day which saved me. And now I am sitting next to the ocean with the best Bolo de Laranga I ever had before with the coffee and this great view. You know, I would order another piece just right now. This place has an amazing view, a very relaxed atmosphere and a great personnel who greeted us with smiles, helpful gestures and good service. The food and the decor is humble, but so are the prices.
