Padaria/Pastelaria Nossa Sra. de Fátima — Restaurant in Vila do Conde

Really slow service. We sat down and the waiter came by to clean the table and then completely ignored us. We had to flag him down to get our order taken, surely he knew we were there based on the fact we had a conversation whilst he was cleaning the table? We also had to ask for a coffee a couple of times and it took 20 minutes for us to receive a simple bread with ham, with barely any ham in it, it was quite a sad state of affairs. The coffee was super weak too and not at all flavourful and the place is riddled with black mould which is not a fantastic look. And to add insult to injury, payments are made at the till instead of just taking the payment so we had to wait extra time on top. Would definitely not be back as there are better...

Great pastry. The croissants are to die for, the bolas de Berlim as well. Staff is nice, but they are always busy which is maybe why some people think they’re unfriendly? They work from 6 am to 8 pm. Padaria excelente, atendimento de qualidade e uma simpatia tremenda por parte de todos os colaboradores. Só é pena os clientes não saberem respeitar quem se encontra por trás de um balcão a trabalhar. Clientes que se dirigem às colaboradoras com cara de quem quer bater em alguém e não sabem aguardar. A padaria está sempre cheia o que traduz o sucesso e o bom trabalho e os clientes chegam e querem ser servidos na hora, se aguardam 5/10m pela sua vez, levantam-se criticam o atendimento e vão embora. Será que faziam melhor atrás do balcão? Duvido! Muita paciência têm as colaboradoras que se dirigem sempre aos clientes com um sorriso na cara e palavras simpáticas, mesmo quando estes são mal educados e esquecem-se que para além de estarem a trabalhar elas também são seres humanos.
