I went here during a busy lunchtime service, I was shown to a table,and given the menu straight away, after perusing, thought I would give the menu of the day a go. Bread basket and garlic olives were immediately placed on the table, then asked what I would care to drink....a carafe of about 300ml red wine was duly delivered. Read moreThis weekend I cycled through Alentejo to Beira Baixa where I stopped in at Vila Velha de Rodão, overlooking the Tagus. I happened into a wonderfully quaint pastry shop. They waitress served up a steaming coffee and Belén pastry (ehh custard). Delicioso!
