This restaurant is on the banks of the river tagus, the location is stunning, the views are beautiful, ran professionally, it could be a gold mine !
then answer me why they only serve meals indoors and not on the terrace ?
Who wants to sit inside a place with no ambience, when you have tables that give the romance outside ?
I asked to be served at a table on the terrace outside and was refused, also I was the first customer ! So it was not as if they were too busy, three servers doing nothing.
It is nothing but pure laziness.
I ordered the sea bass, I'm sure I got served the river fish instead. Fish arrived nicely cooked on a bed of julienne courgette with a sweet potato mash, it was nice, but... two of the cheapest ingredients known to mankind, two glasses of house red, cost €18..
I left still hungry, not even the offer of a bread basket, a customer shouldn't have to ask.
The servers were unprofessional and rude.
I asked for a glass of wine, the young man who served appeared to be in charge, tipped the dregs of a bottle into my glass, had no second bottle to make up the proper measure, then his mobile phone rang, he said to me, don't worry I'll fill it up in a while and carried on with his phone conversation
Unbelievable!
The unprofessional standards here astound me, I have ran an upmarket bar and restaurant for over ten years, Never would I allow this level of incompetence. The owner of this establishment needs to take responsibility and train his staff and change his menu to give value for money.
Hugely disappointed.

We sat down and indicated we would be waiting for the rest of our party but would like to have drinks and starters. We waited for ages for somebody to take our drink order. Next we ordered the starters - we got (literal translation) “Toasted bread with garlic”. What we received shocked us - a garlic baguette that you can buy frozen at a supermarket (tasted exactly like it). We got olives (good) and drinks (nothing to add). The total for these items came out to 10 euros. It’s frustrating to think that you’re paying for food that isn’t worth the price. In the end, we decided that we were not going to spend another minute in this restaurant, despite having planned to dine with family there. The ambience was awful, it was unsettlingly SILENT in the dining room and absolutely miserable - horrible furniture, lighting etc. considering the medium price for a plate was between 14-17 euros. Read moreEvitei pronunciar-me detalhadamente sobre a minha experiência. Dada a reposta à 1 estrela atribuída, cumpre-me o dever de expor algumas observações que vão desde :
-Total desprezo por quem espera à porta por uma mesa. -Ausência total de resposta a um simples Boa tarde -Desrespeito pela fila de espera dando indicação de mesa a quem chegou depois.
Percebo agora o estado lastimável do atendimento, teve mais pressa em responder às más avaliações do que atender e sentar as pessoas que em algum momento deciram gastar o seu dinheiro na sua casa. São 14horas, falta 1 hora para a sua casa fechar e ainda deve ter clientes a sua espera para sobremesa e café... Preocupe-se mais a dar prioridade a clientes de carne e osso, mas também a usar a máscara, que não serve só para tapar a boca.
Mais preocupação com os pratos que transporta para a mesa com o nariz destapada, que ao contrário de si que estamos apresentados, eu nao o conheço de lado nenhum e não faço questão nenhuma de o conhecer.

A conversar já nos entedemos, volto a este tema para fechar de uma vez o tema.
Estavam 2 mesas vazias. Ninguém em pé à espera. Ninguém faltou à educação com o staff, porque simplesmente ninguém falou connosco, apesar de dizermos boa tarde, e esperar um acolhimento se é possivel, almoçar, tem reserva? está demorado? estamos cheios, vai demorar? NADA, simplesmente ignoraram a presença de 2 grupos à porta num total de 6 pessoas. Quanto ao dono, de facto enganei-me, já tive oportunidade de perceber, mas ao mesmo tempo deixa-me ainda mais perplexo com a sua abordagem. Não esteve presente, não assistiu, e em vez de procurar perceber o porquê da atribuição de uma estrela permitindo melhorar situações para futuro, partiu para a provocação, voltou a provocar depois de uma exposição construtiva e sem lhe faltar ao respeito a staff ou instituição, dando assim continuidade ao atendimento de desprezo e falta de respeito com quem lhe paga as...
