At least 4 stars. Nice and cosy restaurant with working heating, the latter being somewhat special around here.

Very good food. Many typical Alentejo dishes. All dishes available in half portions; even then they are more than enough. Very affordable prices.

Vast choice of home made deserts. Large choice of Ola ice-creams which makes life easier when dining with children. Open from 10:00 - 22:00. So if you are used to eat at six that's not a problem. Good place to visit with children.

Friendly and attentive staff.

Modern and clean toilets. Toilet for disabled. Large parking, wheelchair friendly. Entrance of restaurant wheelchair friendly.

A nossa experiência n’Os Cucos foi bastante prazerosa. Quando chegámos não tínhamos reserva, tivemos de aguardar um bocadinho mas rapidamente obtivemos uma mesa. Tínhamos à disposição saladinha de polvo, queijo, pão e azeitonas mas preferimos ir diretamente ao prato principal. As doses são de grande quantidade, pedimos lombo de porco preto grelhado e estava divinal. Pedimos 1 dose para dois e serviu perfeitamente (no entanto, se forem um “bom garfo”, talvez seja melhor pedirem + meia dose). A carne extremamente tenra e saborosa e as batatas caseiras muito bem fritas e estaladiças. Para terminar, escolhemos duas sobremesas: a sericaia e o doce da casa. Ambas estavam excelentes, mostrando que a qualidade se mantém até ao final da refeição. É importante referir que, sendo um restaurante de grande dimensão, o ambiente pode ser um pouco barulhento. Contudo, isso não prejudica a experiência, desde que não se espere um espaço particularmente sossegado. No geral, foi uma refeição muito bem conseguida, com boa comida, um atendimento eficaz e um ambiente descontraído. Sem dúvida, será um lugar...

Very nice location and very good quality food. As with most restaurants in Portugal be aware that the 'starter' course that arrives on the table without being requested is charged for and substituted well for a starter. So head for main course or if you want a starter off the menu specify to the waiter that you don't need the unrequested...
