Casa Dacilor — Restaurant in Boița

I knew this place since my last stop at it, almost 2 years ago. It had a fairly good food, very low prices and fast service. This time I had a big disappointment...so let's begin : ordered a tripe soup which was good although a little thin (had plenty of meat but lacked the thickness, it was too watery). Then ordered mici and wife ordered polenta with omelettte and cheese. The waiter was a young guy, who looked like he just was employed as he had no idea about the menu and what to recommend or what the dishes contained. The nici plate that I ordered turned out to be a large portion as he failed to inform me that one mic was the size of 2 regular ones. The fries were frozen type, but very bland. The polenta was even worse and the only thing that they could not screw up was the cheese (bought form a local surely) which was very good. We were in a hurry and asked for the bill, we had to call the waiter twice and waited for about 20 minutes until finally decided to go inside and just pay at the counter. Waited another 5 minutes until the last over there finished with her order and then she asked the waiter to tell her the table number. They screwed that up also, I had to tell them exactly what I ate. Ooohh forgot, they brought me papanași for the dessert. THEY WERE UNDERCOOKED, could not take even a bite. Told this to the waiter. Of course I had to pay for that also even though I told them again that I could not eat it. Very bad service. Don't think I will recommend...

Best food I've eaten in Sibiu County. Also amazing view and service! Note: I've seen a lot of negative reviews about this place since my review 2 years ago, but I have to disagree with many. I've been here over 5 times in 3 different seasons, weekdays and times and I've never had any issues with staff, the food. The part where you have to request the check inside is false, you go there to PAY as there isn't much signal in the area and it is plugged in to be able to work better. The staff have always been kind and the bathroom is what you'd expect for a place with a TRADITIONAL ASPECT. Overall I'm keeping my rating of 5 stars...

My third or fourth time here. I've entered hoping that after 1 year from my last visit, things changed, but I was wrong. Beside of attitude of waiters, wich is very bad, I've saw a lot of comments about things that they ate putting extra on bill, and I wanted to see the truth. More specific, we've ordered food, and without asking for it, a basket of bread was placed on the table. We've told the waiter that we don't want, and "not so happy" she took it from the table.
