I'm really impressed by visiting Manu Bistro. Chef Manuel with chef Lily created outstanding atmosphere and delicious cuisine here. Concept of the restaurant is completely new - they don't even have a boring menu, just personal recommendations. There is no need to think of what you are going to eat - chef Manuel will completely take care of you. He individually meets each guest and pays attention to everyone telling about the food, recommending dishes or just chatting like an old friends. Interior of the restaurant can be called one of the best in city. Service here is at very superior level, meals are tasty and gourmet - I've never tasted such a divine steak (it was so tender that it just has melted in my mouth). The restaurant is not traditional in the sense that there are no menus, the owner explained to us that this was a choice of his as he wanted people to try new food daily. We were told about a selection of different meats which are all organic from local farmers. Everything is made fresh, from scratch with love and attention to detail. Iată experiența noastră: căutând pe internet un loc unde se poate mânca mai decent am ajuns la MANU.
Intrând în sală am încercat să întreb pe ospătar care uitându-se la noi ne-a expediat repede spunând: vorbiți cu "colegul" meu. Eram îmbrăcat cu pantaloni scurți și tricou (nu ca "blugii" tăiați de la genunchi ca românii) și probabil a crezut că am greșit adresa.
Am cerut un meniu și a zis că n-au.
Pe scurt: mâncarea mediocră, bucătarul necalificat, atmosfera scorțosă, probabil se credeau la restaurantul Capșa, târgovețul de ospătar făcea plecăciuni unor young gang members pe care îi cunoștea. Prețul, nu mă interesa, le puteam cumpăra tot echipamentul și mobila de acolo.
Singurul care merită laude a fost Ștefan, un băiat politicos și de nota 10 care vorbea și o engleză bună.
