I take the time to write this review in the hopes nobody else will have to experience what I went through. We showed up for dinner early, there were exactly two customers at an outside table. Inside, there were two workers, neither one doing anything I could identify as work or fulfilling orders. One employee behind the counter acted surprised to see us, didn't offer any word of greeting, and did not respond to our greeting. I've been in places like these, I thought, but give the benefit of the doubt...
Boy, was I wrong! I asked if we could order only to be told off. We were informed that 'there were other orders ahead,' so it would be around one hour before they could 'do anything for us.' At this time, another employee appeared from the kitchen only to gawk at us, not even trying to look busy, but letting us know they made orders by hand so we'd need to wait. Of course they didn't take the time to invite us to sit, look at the menu, or anything which would be deemed hospitable in the least.
My observation is that these folks were too busy to take care of customers, they also didn't seem the least interested in their jobs, nor had they any manners consistent with the most elementary rigors exacted by a customer service position. All we ever wanted was some food served by individuals with a semblance of dignity, instead we were snubbed unceremoniously and run out of the store. I couldn't comment on the quality of the product, but service is non-existent.
Quick feedback for whomever owns this jalopy: find employees who are interested in their jobs! Your employees represent your product by delivering a service, don't be daft and NEVER place any orders ahead of customers who walk into your place. Take care of the physical customer FIRST, if you wish for return business. What I experienced today was a shame on you, your employees, and your business. I will be sure to let everyone I know to avoid your business like the...
Read moreThe sashimi comes in very creative forms, two were not alike. However, this should probably be corrected in the future by sticking to the more conventional form rather than oddly shaped cuboids which renders them aesthetically unpleasant. Otherwise the price for it makes it simply not worth purchasing. Another peculiarity is the fact that nigiri sushi is far less expensive than other places and of quality vastly superior, making it far more desirable than the overpriced sashimi previously mentioned (So my dear fellows sushi lovers, swarm ahead!)
The rice was exquisitely tasty, but as a suggestion it the future is might be worth making it more sticky so that it wouldn't fall apart the moment it touches the soy sauce. On that note, the soy and wasabi are of really good quality which is an immense asset in an increasingly competitive sushi market which values money-making rather than actual quality. So great job here!
Finally, the deserts are absolutely bomb. Very tasty and fresh and the presentation is lovely. Wholeheartedly recommend them! :)
Oh and it is also worth mentioning that the staff is incredibly nice and polite. Very helpful and giving a positive vibe by always smiling.
Overall a great...
Read moreMy experience with Sushi is now 28years in many different countries. Yesterday I was tasting sushi for the first time in Romania. I am very disappointed- the sushi has been dry, because it has been made many hours before. The fish has been so dry - I needed to remove all!!!! Exactly about this I have been afraid of- the quality of the fish because romania is offering very very often bad quality. How I remember Romania has the black sea but does not manage good fish? So please… you cannot offer such a dry sushi. The taste in generally is not so bad but the fish is an absolutely NOGO. I know I can’t compare the taste of sushi directly at the harbour of Tokyo with Romania but please please please improve...
