Stayed for one night as part of an organised tour in August 2022. ||We arrived around 8pm after a day of travelling and sightseeing. Check in was quick and we had a twin room on the third floor / top floor. The lifts worked okay or you can take the stairs. ||Our room was an okay size and had a small balcony too. We had two single twin beds with a good range of cushion / pillow sizes. The room also had a large tv, table underneath and chair, space for luggage and wardrobe with hanging space and safe, plus a fridge / minibar. The air con took a little bit of figuring out but this was probably user error. We can also recommend channel 0184 on the tv (Atomic) for some epic remixes of tunes. The curtains were a little thin and let in quite a bit of light in the morning. We could also hear a little bit of noise from adjacent rooms. The wifi was a bit hit and miss - sometimes really good, sometimes very slow.||The bathroom was modern with a shower over the bath (although there only seemed to be a shower fitting so not sure how you’d fill the bath?). They provided some toiletries and the towels were clean and decent. Also good thickness of toilet paper. ||The hotel is on the edge of town and a few minutes walk from Carrefour and a retail park, plus two McDonalds, but we couldn’t find much else around. ||Breakfast was good, with the usual hot and cold selection. They also had Prosecco chilled but unopened so that could be an option if you want. ||Overall a good overnight stay in a modern hotel on the...
Read moreHorrible stay at this hotel. There’s a construction site in the back and a very busy road in the front. The windows have 0 noice reduction so sleeping with the windows closed or open is exactly the same noise wise.||The curtains in every room are very transparent making it impossible to sleep during the day. That combined with the high noise level made my stay at this hotel hell every stay.||They also do not allow food delivery to the room, the reason being that there were items stolen from the hotel at some point in its existence. Yet I’ve walked in and out of it plenty of times with no soul at the reception watching out for thieves.||The furniture is 15 years old at least. Outdated, scratched and feels like it has been used for decades.||There is no complementary water in the room. No coffee or tea either. There is no iron or ironing board in the room.||I have asked for a router reboot twice because the internet was not working.||This is at best a 2 and a half star hotel.||Room cleanliness is bad. Long hair, short hair, all colors Al over the bathroom. Bed covers full of dust.||The people that give an excellent rating to this hotel must have never been in an actual 4 star hotel. If you come from a place where you live with the toilet a few hundred meters away from the house, then yes, this is a 5 start hotel, not...
Read moreWe spent 3 nights at Hotel Cubix, 2 adults and our 2,6 year old son. The hotel is very clean, the room was maided every day, towels changed, staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast is served on plates due to the current health enforcement rules, we had it delivered to our room. It is plentiful and tasty, we could barely eat two thirds of the portion. The staff always added a banana and a yoghurt for our son, a minor, but very kind gesture, the kind of which makes you feel welcome. A car would be needed in order to get around Brașov, even though the hotel is quite well connected by bus and/or tram. I would definitely...
