New Tam-Tam Bikini — Restaurant in Gisenyi

It is one of the oldest and trendy bar in Rubavu popular with tourists and well off people in Gisenyi & neibouring town of Goma (DRC). They serve all kind of food and beverages to their many visitors. Service is relatively quick and their staff are uniformed. The cool breaze from the lake freshens you up while you are enjoying your drink while listening or dancing to loud local music. If you are in the mood you can swim in the lake. The swimming area is demarcated and the area is relatively deep that any adult can stand and walk but beware of stumbling on stones in some areas. Other water sport activities such as boat rides, kayaking etc are also available. The entry is free on weekdays but payable 1000Frw (1USD) in weekends. The place has a safe parking. The beach is good and clean, a lot of people sitting close (Might be uncomfortable if you don't like people watching you..) they have some changing rooms but no showers. The food is great, especially fish. There is ample parking at the location. They have some floaters for rent. You can also rent kayaks at the beach. There are beach boys offering boat tours to the hot springs and islands. The rates are friendly but don't be afraid to bargain. A great place to visit...
