My wife and I are both chefs and when we are craving North American style food fast food Mr Chips is the place to go …for those who know it’s like in and out burger inCalifornia or Shake Shake in New York, fast food done right using only the freshest ingredients and many special touches that most fast food places ignore. A food burger is a thing of beauty and so delicious when done right …Their fries are thin and CRISPY made from the top quality kinigi potatoes …the chicken wings are plump and tender yet always crispy and well coated with a homemade BBQ sauce. The owner Paul has the experience and has empowered and trained his fabulous friendly and efficient Rwandan staff so that the quality and consistency is always there. This is fast food done at the right pace but most importantly with lots of attention to detail that makes it a pleasure to dine there everytime. Best of its kind in Kigali. !

Ps some foods don’t travel well for take out no matter what so if you order fries dining in they are perfection. But upon delivery they may not be as good reheated. That’s just basic food procedures

The food is truly delicious! It’s the go to place in Kigali for a nice and fast meal.

The staff went above and beyond to assist me with a transaction issue, even though it was outside their responsibility. Their genuine kindness and willingness to help were truly heartwarming.

The owner’s thoughtful gesture of offering something on the house after noticing I had a tough day was a highlight.

This is hands down the best service I’ve ever experienced in Kigali. I’ll definitely be returning and recommending this place...
