Fisherman's Village — Restaurant in Saint Kitts

This was my first time here and i was not disappointed. The service was good. Our server was very attentive. The food was great although some of my friends had issues with the tuna but the chef cooked another tuna which was commendable. My meal was good. My only pet peeve was the presentation. I do no like my steak cut (see photo), i like to cut into my steak and i like my steak on the side, for example i would have rathered it on the side and not in my truffled mash. In my opinion, that can change the taste of the meal. Nonetheless the steak melted in my mouth and the mash was good. Another issue i had was that there was alot of changes on the menu and the server had to list them out, alot of which i did not remember lol. Soo, I love the staff, view was picturesque, and the park Hyatt is magnificent, but felt gouged with pricing and portions. Food was ok (I ordered the ribs my wife had the fish with rice and peas) and an order of wings to the (5 wingettes) to the tune of $127+. We're foodies and don't mind paying for delicious food, but overall it was just food, nothing special. I truly love Hyatt properties and eat at them regularly even when not staying at them, but I found myself looking for other food options while staying here even with paying $40+ to catch a cab to them. Definitely going back. I came to visit but was taken here by one of the locals. We went on a Saturday night for dinner. The service was great, the food was delicious the prices were affordable. It's a water front setting they do have covered seating. The day we went it was a live dj he was great. It was initially hard to find at night because of the location but the staff there gave direct step by step directions. Definitely looking forward to going back...
