The service was slow and poor. The chicken kebab was salty and over cooked basically inedible. We ordered a medium well, lamb but it was cooked rare. The expensive steak, was the smallest steak I have ever seen in my life. The food took over 1 hour to reach the table so we had to complaine about the wait time. We also had a long wait time, for the table to be cleared after our starters. The manager said she would reduce the bill but still charged us the same price even though a meal was rejected and sent back. She removed the meal from the bill but still charged us for it by providing the bill in EC dollar the 2nd time around instead of US dollar, so the bill would appear cheaper but it was the same price which originally included the meal which was sent back to the kitchen. Dishonest, disappointing and disgusting. I will never return and I will never recommend this establishment to any of my paying guest who come to St lucia as I work within tourism or to any of my friends. Over priced for no reason and disgusting. The worse meal I have ever had in St Lucia to date and I have been living here for 2 and a half years.

In response to your reply. You establishment was not packed on the day, which is why your staff welcomed walkins at you busiest hour. The table opposite ours, were also complaining about the wait time of there meal and they would have had a reservation, due to the sizes of the party. You failed to address the fact that I was charged for a meal which was not on the bill itinerary as it was sent back and all your manager did was changed the bill from US dollar to EC dollar to trick me into thinking it was deducted and a discount was applied as she said she would do. If I am the person address you with our dissatisfaction, why would you give your number to someone else in my party (who is St Luciab) and offer them a free dish if they came back again. I know why, because I have a British accent, so she did not care as I would probably be going home and I would not understand the exchange rate either forthe billing. Well I do live here and I do know what the exchange rate is. Yes, everyone is entitled to a bad day. That's the real world. But had I not been cheated on my bill and the discount applied, as discussed. I would not have written a review. So, I do not accept your excuses, as this could have been rectified correctly on the day. And the rest if my party agrees, so they have discarded your phone number.

This experince has left a bad taste in my mouth . ...

I read so much about this place in the reviews and the defining moment was when I saw some lamb Chops in a photo so I chose this place to eat for my birthday dinner. Reservations were made via Hideaway Royalton, St. Lucia for us and we got there and were greeted, and seated. Our food assistant was a trainee (that's what was on her name tag) but she said her name was KeKe. I was asking questions about the lamb Chops and if it was ala carte and she said that it was a full meal that would take about 30 minutes to prepare because I didn't want to take super long because it was already 8ish in the evening I was hesitant. But I saw 2 plates of the chops go by and those looked perfect and I was sold! I placed my order and waited. Food finally arrived and I was very disappointed. I received a pretty plate but that was all I could say. It was a bright plate, that was full of color and not enough food. I felt like I received what was left over of the lamb chops (3 small bones). It wasn't enough for me to taste. My frustration was that I asked a question and was told it was a meal but to say that the plate that I received was a meal was incorrect. It said lamb rack with other words. I got 3 small bones 5 blueberries 1 piece of chopped carrot 3 half pieces of tomato, 1 tiny onion some bread of some sort cut in half on either side of the 3 small bones, and a sauce to pour on it. Wasn't happy with that. BUT K.L. Had a different experience, you would have thought it was his birthday. LOL Per his words Ribs were good, duck rice was good, and Mac was blah asf. The entertainment was entertaining. Service decent. 4/5 He said the trainee told him to get something else but I was trying to figure out where I was when he had that conversation because I would have changed my mind and order. Because when I asked her a question she was short with me. If she didn't know the answer I would have preferred she went and asked someone. But overall the building was pretty the food was pretty and everyone has an opinion. If you go ask questions and dig deeper and ask more questions if you need to. Don't give up so quickly as I...

All of the 5 star reviews on service and best meat quality make zero sense to us. Service was uncomfortable from the start. The waiter came over and shook both our hands before the meal which defeats the purpose of making us sanitize upon entry to the restaurant. This isn’t worth mentioning on its own, but it set the awkward tone for the evening. We ordered the Malbec which was good but the server asked us if everything was to our liking literally 4 times back to back - all we had was wine and bread. We ordered the skirt steak and catch of the day. We weren’t asked, but specified that we’d like the steak to be medium rare. Both were over cooked with the skirt steak being particularly tough and well done. At the end of the meal the server insisted that I leave a cash tip instead of adding it to the bill because he said the full tip would go to the kitchen if we did that. After leaving both a tip on the bill AND a cash tip, we found out from the reviews that a 10% gratuity is automatically included in every bill already. The server removed the itemized check quickly before I could see it. Very unsure what all of these other reviewers are experiencing, but this was a huge waste of resources. Would not...

Food quality / price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is neo-classical, with well planned craftsman decor, furnishings and artistic accents. A well practiced service staff, and an experienced kitchen crew led by Chef Odin (AKA The God of all Chefs) bring the dining experience to you that will make you believe, once again, that life's most basic pleasures are the sweetest. Owners Mark and Rosie Joinville, seasoned gastro-entrepreneurs, have gathered the training and knowledge needed to produce the dining experience that very few restaurants can deliver. A well balanced menu featuring steaks and seafood prepared and presented in an innovative manner, combined with an accommodating and eager to please host, Jonel, assures you that you've chosen the right restaurant. Owner Rosie, a formally trained Chef, chooses and prepares the desserts including the very unique Blue Cheese cheesecake with mint leaves garnish that delivers flavor combinations that you have not yet experienced. Live entertainment is frequently provided, and a large outdoor seating area is available. Parking is readily available. Reservations recommended.

I came here for Sunday brunch while I was in Rodney Bay. The ambiance was very nice and romantic. It seemed as though everything was themed for Valentine's day so there were a lot of couples there. I dined alone though and there was live music that afternoon too which was nice. I got the 3-course brunch special. The food was really good but the portions were very small, even for fine dining standards. This was also the most expensive meal I had while I was in Rodney Bay and it would've been worth it had the service been better. I unfortunately never knew who my actual server was because nobody checked on me after I placed my order or introduced themselves as my server. So I had to keep flagging different servers down for drinks, dessert, and the bill. It was always delivered promptly once I asked but it was just disappointing that I saw other people had servers checking on them and I didn't. Other than that, it was a very nice restaurant and I probably would come back again.
