I would give this restaurant 10 STARS if I could. All of the reviews less than 5 stars should be thrown out. #1. BIG FOODIE over here, I have extremely high expectations. So with that being said, I'm personally vetoing others 1 star comments! Ate here last night, would literally eat here again tonight but they are not open for friday dinners :(. We went last night, a thursday, and didn't realize it was their pre-fixe 'TNF BBQ tasters' menu. No problem at all though because the pre fixed menu is AWESOME (you can easily google what Is on it). First off, this place is SO CUTE, tucked away down a path of stairs and waterfront, very romantic and laid back all at the same time. The price is completely reasonable seeing as you get like...5 or 6 apps and then a main dish at the end, and dessert...for 60USD per person? Take my money! Think carribean tapas! The wait staff is INCREDIBLE. Every single person working there was so happy, funny, engaged with you, joked with you. One of the bartenders Chris talked to my significant other and myself for 5 minutes or so, recommended stuff around the island, explained to us green figs, breadfruit, etc. What a nice guy!! We were the last table of the night, no one rushed us out, we felt like true guests at their restaurant. The mussels were my absolute favorite! Okay, well maybe tied with the banana dessert at the end of your meal...wow!!! I would suggest going on Thursday for their bbq night, it will not disappoint. Cocktails are on point as well- we had rum punch and a mojito- YUMMY! again, 5 stars doesn't do this place justice. Bravo, TNF, you guys...

I wanted to enjoy this place so much, but unfortunately, that was not our experience. I went with a large group of 9 people so, of course there was a wait to be seated. The hostess, Sheresa, was very pleasant and seated as quickly as she could with water and menus. And then, the wait began. We were given a new waitress by the name of Naioka and it took her AN HOUR to come and take our orders. She was nasty and curt with all of her answers and just down right rude. Another 40 minutes went by before we actually got our food and it was mediocre, at best. We noticed there were other large groups seated near us and Naioka turned all of her attention to them. It seems that if you're a guest at the Sandals Resort nearby, you are VIP and supercede all consideration for the other parties. The last straw was a down pour of rain as we sat outside and all of the other tables were offered seating under the awning while we were offered umbrellas. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!!! To top it all off, we were then sent another waitress to handle our bill and although she was sweet and tried her best, had no idea what our orders were. She had to go back and fix the check 3 times. This was poor service and management and I would not recommend it if you are a person that expects good food...

View and ambiance, amazing, food, not so much. Over priced by far compared to other local amazing restaurants. Conch Fritters a local delicacy was minced flour and they claim it had Conch in it. $50EC for 6 small pieces. Later finding that Conch is an endangered species, good thing there wasn't any in the food we ordered. Upon finishing my seafood bowl of what was mostly potato and sea shells there was a crab claw which rotten. Not liking to complain but absolutely no expert in seafood asked the server who turned out to be the head boss what she thought. She agreed quickly after smelling it snapping her head back in disgust, that it was "off" . She then had the crew throw out their remaining crab. Crab was the main part of the dish, no offer to sub or replace, and on vacation I really don't want to fight. So, still hungry and off to dominos to order a pizza. Last but not least, we felt tricked into buying dessert @ $25EC ($12.50CDN) for a plastic urine container of food each. Perhaps our fault for not understanding that it was $25EC each. No discount, or offer to make it right. This was the most expensive meal we have had here by double and aside from the view the absolute worst food we have eaten. The Gros Islet street party food is...

The Naked Fisherman and the beach here should be on everyone’s to-do list that that are staying in this area of the island. Staff: HUGE shout out to Jordan for setting us up with a double beach bed where we ate, drank and watched our kids swim in the bay all afternoon. Bob was one of the best severs we’ve had and took care of us with a smile all afternoon. He always was there at the right time to make sure we were having a great time. Food: Probably the best meal we’ve had on the island. curried humus was amazing and ceviche / jerked chicken satay were both outstanding. Like I said - probably the best meal we’ve had on the island. Beach: the cove is small but you’d be hard pressed to find a prettier / sweeter beach. Gentle waves, crystal clear water and some great reefs for snorkeling (best we’ve found on this part of the island). I can’t say enough great things about the Fisherman and area. Thank you so much for being the highlight of our vaca thus far. Thanks Bob and Jordan!!!
