⭐ Avoid This Overpriced and Overrated “High-End” Restaurant ⭐

I had an extremely disappointing experience at this so-called fine dining establishment. If you’re considering dining here, be prepared to spend a minimum of three hours, even if you’re the only guest—which was my case. Despite the restaurant being empty, service was painfully slow, making the entire experience frustrating and unnecessarily drawn out.

Food Quality: Subpar at Best

The octopus was inedible—tough, chewy, and overcooked to the point where it was impossible to enjoy. The potatoes were completely flavorless, as if they had never been seasoned at all. For a restaurant that presents itself as fine dining, this lack of quality and attention to detail was completely unacceptable.

Scam-Like Drink Experience

To make matters worse, I was duped into ordering a cocktail of the bartender’s choice. She conveniently failed to mention that it was one of the most expensive drinks on the menu—if not the most expensive. On top of that, it was incredibly bitter and unbalanced because she went overboard with the orange juice. When I politely asked for a replacement, her response was shockingly rude and condescending. Instead of addressing the issue, she insinuated that I didn’t belong in the restaurant and simply couldn’t appreciate a drink of this “caliber.”

Service: Rude and Dismissive

Between the snobbish attitude, dismissive service, and unprofessional staff, I felt completely unwelcome. The waitress barely checked in, acted as if my presence was an inconvenience, and the bartender’s elitist attitude sealed the deal on this terrible experience.

Final Verdict: Stay Far Away!

This place is wildly overpriced, pretentious, and fails in every way possible. The food is mediocre, the service is beyond rude, and the entire experience is not worth the time or money. If you’re looking for a true fine dining experience, avoid this restaurant at all costs—there are much better options elsewhere.

🚹 Save your money and your patience. I won’t be back, and I don’t recommend it...

Recently attended for an evening of fine dining. The ambience of the restaurant was nice. The service was close to excellent. The food, I cannot rave about. As a vegan and going out for dinner, it may be hard to find the foods that you can eat and enjoy. My wife and I ordered. My wife had her taste buds set on a nice Lobster dinner as advertised in the menu. There was no Lobster. Lobster is still in season, but she had to settle on a steak dinner. Steak was done to her liking and appeared to be a good dinner. Me, on the other hand, I ordered a vegetable dinner as prescribed by the waitresses. They said that would fix me a vegetable dish. Obviously, vegetable are part of every dish, so I thought that this was not a big ask. What they brought me, a large bowl with cooked vegetables. They brought me 4 pieces of sweet potatoes, 2 pieces of Cauliflower, 4 pieces of carrot and 4 pieces or Asparagus and 4 dabs of hummis. This was a grand total of about 3 dollars worth of vegetables and hummus. I get it, this is fine dining and you do expect to pay more for food to get the ambience and service. I was charged 95 dollars, EC for this plate. That works out to be about 50 dollars Canadian. So for 3 dollars worth of vegetables, 50 dollars Canadian, 38 dollars American?. Definitely not worth the service and the ambience and a vegetable dish that you could see the entire bottom of the bowl. St Lucia, you can have this dining establishment. For me, I will not be shy about my food orders anymore. I will expect more in the future from any establishment I attend. It's vegetables, they are considered a side dish. Provide a worthy meal, even if it is...

A Refined Jazz & Dining Experience at Faye Gastronomie

Having visited Faye Gastronomie occasionally, I can confidently say that each experience has been exceptional, and our latest visit for a jazz event was no exception. From the moment we arrived, my daughter and I were immersed in an atmosphere of sophistication, warmth, and genuine hospitality. The staff—who have always been attentive—continued their tradition of making us feel truly welcome, checking in throughout the evening to ensure our comfort.

The food, as expected, was an exquisite blend of flavors and artistry, perfectly complementing the elegant ambiance. The live jazz performance elevated the entire experience, weaving contemporary melodies into the refined setting and making for a truly immersive night.

While the pricing is on the higher side, it’s a fair reflection of the quality and attention to detail that Faye Gastronomie provides. Every aspect—from service to music to cuisine—is carefully curated to deliver a complete sensory experience. It’s clear why we keep coming back: Faye Gastronomie continues to be a top-tier destination for fine dining and live...

Fantastic French cuisine by master chef Jacques Chrétien and his wife Sofie. As one of the most prestigious french chefs in the world, he understands the importance of fresh ingredients. They import fresh beef, lamb, seafood, cheese, wine, truffles, even foie gras, and create culinary masterpieces. We had 3 couples celebrating anniversaries and a birthday. Jacques met us tableside and created something special for each of us, including a giant seafood platter to share, foie gras appetizers for everyone, rack of lamb, ribeye steak, and fresh sea bass. Suggesting white and red wine pairings from their extensive cellar. We had a wonderful evening that we will never forget!

I found a piece of plastic on my food, I ordered the seabass. When I told my server, he just took it and never saw him again until the very end of our dinner, to say bye! Never heard from the chef or the restaurant manager. It was like nothing happened. A “5 star” restaurant should know how to deal with this situation. We visited here the day of our arrival for lunch and everything was good and then returned for our last night on the island, thinking it was going to be a nice experience but it was not the case after this incident. For the price and the way they presented the restaurant. Needs to Improve.

I stumbled upon this place by chance on my penultimate day of my trip to St Lucia and wow wasn’t it worth it! In a very odd location - right opposite the entrance to the main airport - and the entrance hidden around the back. However, as a bit of a wine fan - I was extremely surprised (in a positive way) that they had an on site sommelier who gave me a 6 wine tasting for 50usd with generous pours including cheese board plus a free glass of whichever was my favourite, on the house, to have with my main meal. Pascal the sommelier was knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend this place!
